Arkitektkontoret Nils Tveit and Hille Melbye Arkitekter has in collaboration with Benoy Arcitects and LPO arkitekter designed a masterplan project named Økern Centre.

The project has been mentioned as “Hovidbyens beating heart” and will be the biggest and most ambitious city planning project in Oslo. It will be an alive and energetic city centre including a swimming hall, cinema, residential, cultural facilities, offices and hotel, while having one of Oslos biggest shopping centres.
