The centre opened originally as Spareland in 1985 and has undergone multiple large upgrades throughout its time, the latest from 2014-2017.
The project contained rebuilding and extensions of the existing centre. The centre is seen as one of Buskeruds largest shopping centres and major upgrades were done. The upgrades includes establishing a new COOP mega-store, two new goods delivery facilities towards east and west, façade renovations, two new north and east facing entrances and upgrades for the public areas and shops including new escalators and conveyor belts.
