The project involves the demolition of an existing home and the construction of a new detached home and garage that is integrated into the terrain and blends in with the surrounding landscape. The architectural design of the new building will stand out drastically from the existing building through the use of clean volumes that lead the eye
up and towards the sea to the south.

The material use of dark profiled steel plates and bricks, large south-facing glass surfaces and visual color contrast on the entrance doors breaks up the vertical and gives a clean, modern and toned-down look.

The garage is connected to the single-family house by an overhead open pergola and gets a correspondingly similar facade cladding for continuity in the design.
