The project concerns a block in the center of Holmestrand where the desire is urban development of a new central area with a hybrid program with housing, commerce and offices, and underground parking for transparency on the ground level. In the centre, a new square will be established where central functions come together and create a "heart" in the city where commerce and industry meet with active and varied facades for an open city.

A challenge with the development of the project was the lack of daylight in the city, where the design of the buildings was a result of this. The apartments were pulled back into the facade life, which gives a varied expression where activities are spread over several floors.
