The German School was located in Sporveisgata, but moved at the end of 2021 to Myren's Workshop in Oslo. Existing buildings are older industrial premises from 1920, 1980 and 2000 with fragmented building masses where rooms at different heights are transformed into a modern school and kindergarten. The project communicates with the park and Akerselva, does not change the buildings' identity or expression, but emphasizes the new intervention and the history of the area.

Inside, the project focuses on the room's experience through colors that develop with the students throughout the school years. The colors are based on a simple algorithm that includes identity colors for school, level of study and type of room.
