Drammen VGS is located in the center of Drammen and the project has taken place in several phases to avoid building work during the school period, of which this must be added to the summer holidays.

Phase 1 from 2019 dealt with remodeling and establishing a new layout for existing indoor classrooms in several areas of the building.

Phase 2 from 2020 dealt with the remodeling and rehabilitation of the existing atrium to create an environment for outdoor classrooms.

Phase 3 involved an expansion of classrooms from 27 to 30 students, construction of a new bridge in 2-3-4 Floors Wing C, and work on technical facilities.
These were completed in summer 2022.
