Furumo Swimming Hall was completed in 1993 and has recently celebrated its 30th anniversary!

The swimming pool looks identical as it was completed from completion with less maintenance required over the years.
The swimming hall contains two swimming pools – a warm water pool of 12.5 m and a competition pool of 25 m, large colorful water slide and whirlpool.
The outer walls consist of brick with relatively small window surfaces. The roof is covered with rustic concrete roof tiles and helps to tie the building together. Blue accent details on the facade are linked into the interior through the coloring of the doors and details through the swimming pool.
The interior is bright with mainly white walls. On the walls facing the ceiling, colorful acoustic panels and fields of ceramic tiles with a complex play of colors against the floor have been installed. The purple color of the water slide continues through the interior on the stairs up to level 2.
The roof construction is made of wood with acoustic fields mounted from the roof to be able to reduce acoustics under the high ceiling height.
