The project includes the rehabilitation of a listed swimming hall, five buildings, one extension and a new extension + a new bicycle pavilion at idyllic Sognsvann, Oslo.

The school was built in the latter half of the 60s by architects Pran og Torgersen. The project consists of six buildings in pavilion architecture linked together through clear communication routes through all buildings. The concept of material use is consistent throughout the project, where all buildings share the same
idiom.

The swimming hall is listed, while the rest of the building mass is protected or registered on the Yellow List. The main materials are concrete, brick, wood and large glass sections in the west facades of the gym buildings and the swimming pool.
