Strømmen Badeland is planned to become one of the country's most complete swimming facilities. The project is aimed at a broad audience and aims to become a regional hub for recreation and well-being. The building is part of the 'Strømmen Verksted' project associated with Strømmen Storsenter, developed by the Olav Thon Group.
The water park will feature the country's highest diving tower, an exciting counter-current pool, a wave pool, several slides, waterfalls, and various hot water pools. In addition, there will be several therapy pools and a multifunctional 50m pool. The swimming pool is connected to a fitness center, and is also located opposite a health building, which makes the facility a complete offer for training and health. The building is tailored to accommodate the wide spectrum of activities and functions that the facility contains. The internal spatial flow is a carefully considered combination of different volumes, where light ingress, sight lines and material selection contribute to creating different moods and experiences.
