Furumo swimming hall finished construction in 1993 and has newly celebrated their 30 year anniversary! The swimming hall looks identical to how it looked when constructing finished with little necessary maintenance needed throughout the years.
The swimming hall contains two swimming pools – one warm water pool spanning 12,5 m and one competition pool spanning 25 m, large colourful water slide and bubble bath.
The outer walls are made up of brick with realtively small windows. The roof is covered with rustic concrete roof tiles helping to connect the building together. Blue and lilac accent colours connects the buildings exterior and interiour together through colourful doors and details in the swimming hall.
The interiour is light coloured through mainly white walls. On the walls colourful lilac coloured acoustic panels are mounted contrasting the ceramic tiles in a cohesive colour palette mounted towards the floor. The lilac coloured water slide stands out in the room grounded through the acoustic panels.
The roof construction in wood accented through acoustic panels mounted in between the trussed rafters to ensure maintained acoustics throughout the room.
